Moruca House

The original distribution of the excessively compartmentalized house did not respond to the requirements of its new owners. Excessively large dormitory rooms minimized the public area of the dwelling. With the new distribution, it is proposed to increase the public areas of the house, reducing the surface area at night.

The proposal is therefore based on generating flexible and open spaces that broaden the sensation of space and enhance light in the home.

The kitchen is integrated into the living room where the island is part of the furniture. The library structures the circulations of the house protecting the accesses of the rooms.

The use of neutral and clear elements constitute the basis of the proposal. The oak flooring brings warmth to the home. Materials such as carrara marble in the bathroom or the island element add richness and texture to the purity of the environment.
