Magja House

The original configuration of the house, resolved through an excessively long corridor, minimized the entry of natural light into the circulation areas while enhancing its elongated proportion.

The proposal is based on the premise of minimizing circulation areas and promoting natural light, more open-plan rooms are proposed, reducing compartmentalization in the home.

The original access to the house was solved through a corridor without natural light, the new configuration solves the entrance of the house through a circulation hall with natural light on the scale of the house.

Public space is understood as a dynamic place full of activity. The opening of the kitchen towards the living / dining room gives it not only spaciousness but a wealth of uses in keeping with a contemporary lifestyle.

In the semi-public space of the house, the living room is proposed. The living room is understood as a multipurpose and multifunctional space, a transition space between the public and private part of the house.
