The house, with a surface area of ​​355 square metres, is spread over one floor. The living-dining room is located in the day area. The kitchen opens out to the outside through large windows. In the night area there are four fully equipped suites that open out to the sea through perfectly oriented windows. Puerta35 arquitectura is also responsible for the interior design.

The main element of the outdoor space is a large swimming pool with a chill-out area and views of the sea.

Last Thursday, July 8, 2021, the FORO Contract Gran Canaria was held at the exotic Lopesan Baobab Resort. The 5-star hotel in Meloneras (Gran Canaria) evokes African countries in all its details, from the wild nature of its flora to the color of its buildings, earthy and fascinating like the slopes of Kilimanjaro.

A professional and productive day that included all the COVID19 protocol measures and the collaboration of all its participants, respecting security measures at all times.

The event brought together a large number of representatives from high-level and prestigious architectural studios in the Canary Islands.

Companies, the other great ally of FORO Contract, were present with all the latest developments and new technologies for the construction sector. 21 companies participated in the event: GlassyDur, Lafarge Holcim, Fama Solutions, Geolam, Pujol Iluminación, Innovus by Sonae Arauco, Bowers & Wilkins, Pal Plastic, Bona, Ramon Soler, Astro Lighting, Keraben Grupo, Cosentino, NewTechWood, ChovA, Gradhermetic, Accoya Grupo Gámiz, Simon, Soler & Palau, Grupo Puma and rtécnicas.

With a surface area of ​​355 square metres and a budget of 420,000 euros, the main idea of ​​the house is developed through its ‘L’ shape, which serves to distribute the different rooms and create daytime areas that open decisively towards the outside. In this way, and although they are separate spaces, one of the main concepts of the project is the great spaciousness and the open areas that allow this union between exterior and interior.

In this sense, this strong connection can be felt from any point in the house, although it is especially reinforced in the day area that opens directly to the outside with spectacular views of the coast and the mountains of Tenerife.

The house is located on the highest mountain in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with impressive views to the city.

The idea was to create an opened pavilion on the top floor with a plane of water. Big sliding doors aluminum provides a very intense relationship between internal and external space. We played with different platforms in different levels to articulate the external space.

On the first floor we developed a big open space that connects the rest of the house and the rooms.

In terms of materials we used very neutral materials with a cream marble on the flooring to give a bit of warmth to the space.

The house is located in Tenerife close to the coast. The principal requirement from the client was to create a big central space with water around the house, they wanted a house developed in just one floor, so we developed an L shape. In one side we located the activity area opened to the central space and on the other side the rooms and the most private area. The challenge of this project was to create a peaceful atmosphere isolated to the surroundings.

Big sliding doors aluminum gives a very intense relationship between internal and external space.Different zones outside are limited by different materials as grass, concrete, ceramic and a very large gravel band with plants. The dark swimming pool reflects the blue sky and a very ancient dragon tree.

The materials used are very neutral but a central timber element provides the warmth required. The indirect lighting over walls and furniture create a unique picture during the afternoon.
