Luiseba House

The intervention is based on the premise of generating flexible, spacious and light-filled spaces. The initial configuration of the house was structured through unbalanced, small rooms with little light. The proposal maximizes the common areas of the house, creating a single spacious and bright space throughout the day, since it takes advantage of the north-south orientation of both terraces.

The industrial character of the exposed brick fireplace and its position in the space, as well as the installation of the metal beams resulting from the demolition of part of the structure, order the space while giving it character.

The linear piece of furniture integrated as a wall, which is proposed along the living area and kitchen, creates an element of union between both spaces, solving both the kitchen and the storage of almost the entire house.

The staircase is considered as a contrasting element in the house. Its dark color contrasts with the neutrality and warmth of the rest of the house.
